Moto GP # Valentino “The Doctor” Rossi is back in business !!!

For at least one more race, Rossi hold his biggest rival this season, Casey Stoner from becoming the world’s champion of Moto GP 2007. Right after the 28-year-old Italian rider passed Dani Pedrosa at the end of the race, he claimed this crucial victory as his fourth of the season, and first since the Dutch TT three months ago. This also means the bottle of champagne stays in the ice for the Ducati rider, Casey Stoner.rossi

The fight and the real competition has just began, even though Rossi wins this Portuguese GP, but still the chance for the world champion is easier for Stoner to achieve than for Rossi, because of the point difference, because Rossi keep having bike trouble back then, engine trouble, etc. But now it seems like the bike doesn’t have any trouble anymore, we all hope this situation will stay till the end of the season so the competition will be fierce and on fire, you know what i mean?

The race itself started with Nicky Hayden on the pole position, tailed by Stoner and Rossi on the second and third grid. When the lights turn green, Stoner was the one who jump himself up front to take the lead but under the pressure of the Spanish Repsol Honda rider, Dani Pedrosa that burst through from the second row with his American rider teammate, Hayden on his tail in the third place. While they competing for the first place, Rossi who slipped to seventh st the first corner, didn’t take long to pass every rider in front of him to catch up to the leading group of one Ducati and two Hondas. Now it was all for these three to compete for the title after Hayden couldn’t hold his position to keep up with Stoner, Pedrosa, and Rossi. Stoner was still there until Pedrosa find a hole to come in and take the lead right before Rossi catching up the them. After Rossi can pass Stoner, there’s no way Stoner can catch right up to Rossi with his riding talent and Pedrosa with his incredible bike engine from Honda and of course not to mention that Stoner’s Bridgestone tyres failed to match the Michelins durability.

Although Pedrosa can keep fighting with Rossi, it was all for Rossi when the race reach a lap and a half to go, he flashed through Pedrosa to take the lead until the finish line to put the Portuguese Moto GP to the end.
